It started not with ambition, but with grief. In the waters of Bunta, Central Sulawesi, Izal Mangantjo watched friends die — not from the ocean's cruelty, but from the absence of knowledge. He made a vow: to learn, to master, and to come home.

Years later, after training with world-class instructors and earning his AIDA certification, he returned. Not just as an instructor — but as someone who understands the line between depth and danger, because he has stood on both sides of it.

Diveline was born from that line.

The ocean has always been there. But until you learn to move through it properly — with knowledge, with calm, with respect — you are only standing at the surface of something infinite.

Freediving gave me access to a world I had been touching but never truly entering. The beauty beneath the surface. The silence. The way your body feels when you surrender to the depth.

After my first proper freediving course, the one thing I regretted was not doing it sooner. Safety is not a limitation. Safety is what sets you free.

I built Diveline for one reason: so that my friends, my family, and everyone in eastern and central Indonesia can experience freediving the right way — properly, correctly, and above all, safely.

The ocean is waiting. And now, so are we.
